Volunteer at Makowski in April!

Makowski's fifteenth annual African Marketplace will take place during the school day on Monday – April 4th, Wednesday – April 6th, Friday – April 8th, and in the evening on April 8th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Our Marketplace…Looking Back Over The Years”, which will highlight many of the previous themes and most popular activities. The Marketplace is a school wide event that involves fun and learning experiences through child centered activities.

Makowski is in need of many volunteers to help us supervise a variety of stations, which include crafts, games, tattoos and small purchases of a variety of items. The students will require assistance from an adult with these and other activities. If you are available to come in and help during our Marketplace, please take note of the days/times below.

You may RSVP via email (ebeale@buffaloschools.org) or calling the school (816-4180)
