Mrs. Bessie Patterson, the organizer of
the event, will have a sign-in table in the lobby of Kleinhans Music Hall for
students.
Volunteers should
arrive by 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 14th at 5:00 pm. A CAS verification sheet
should be brought to be signed. Students will be done volunteering by 9:00 pm.
Superintendent Cash will be the keynote speaker at this event. It
is the annual MLK celebration and it begins at 6:00 pm on January 14th. The
organizing committee honors all youth in attendance on stage with recognition
to encourage them to stay in school and continue to pursue a higher education
of learning.
