Tree planting on Elmwood - postponed to October 22nd

 

The Elmwood Village association

will be planting 20 new trees 

on Elmwood Avenue 

before the cold weather sets in.


Volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 24th at 10:00 am

Postponed until Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am

to help plant the trees.

They will meet at the Bidwell Triangle,

and tools will be provided by the Tool Library.

Wear old clothes & bring gardening gloves

Help Ukrainian refugees!

 You can start a Sponsorship Circle (this would be a great CAS project). Sponsorship Circles help Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors succeed with:

 - Home set ups

- School and workplace readiness

- Getting around town

- English language learning, and MUCH, MUCH more!

National Night Out - Volunteers needed

 

The Fruitbelt Neighborhood Coalition is a long-standing partner with City Honors School. The Coalition, along with other participating block clubs and sponsors, would like to invite City Honors staff and families to their 2022 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT event.

There will be Free food! … Free activities/games! … and a BAZAAR!

The event will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 3:30PM
Location: William-Emslie Family YMCA 585 William Street, Buffalo, New York 14206
Please consider bringing a dish to pass & lawn chair.

Additional Activities include Games / BINGO, voter’s registration, informational venders, basketball, park grounds, prayer outreach, bike helmets, children registration protection, safety education, Buffalo Fathers Group/Toy Gun Exchange.
