Garden Help!

Pelion Community Garden is looking for one to two grade 10-12 students to help with its mobile vermicompost outreach. It's one of the ways Pelion/CHS can get into enviro-fairs and schools to educate about healthy soil, invite people to Pelion, and encourage them to volunteer in the garden.

These volunteers would go out to attend more events and maintain continuity as students graduate or become busy with other activities.

Often times these outreach events coincide with Saturday workshops or volunteer sessions that are scheduled at Pelion and the garden coordinator cannot supervise both locations. Therefore, volunteers must be mature, responsible, and not afraid of the worms or meeting humans of all ages

Interested students should contact the garden coordinator, Caesandra Seawell directly via email peliongarden@gmail.com or txt 716-803-5566.
